Established in 2001 and developed by Whitehall Homes, Olmsted is a community of ninety-one residences that rest on the east side of Atlanta, adjacent to the historic East Lake Golf Course. Inspired by the famed landscape designer, Frederick Law Olmsted, the Craftsman-style neighborhood is centered around a two acre park and surrounded by seven acres of green space. 

The front porches of the gracious homes open on to tree-lined streets with side-walks that meander up to the lush park that comes alive in the spring and summer with vibrant azaleas, beds of flowers, and towering trees. 

The park is the center of the community and frequently the host of community picnics or movies on the green. On warm evenings, it is filled with the sound of young voices as they take one last run through the grass before bed.

In Olmsted, neighbors find a true sense of community, but what many appreciate most is the location. Olmsted is located a short drive from downtown, Decatur, and Hartsfield-Jackson. It is also within walking distance of the East Lake Publix, Kirkwood, Oakhurst, and East Lake Park.
